These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Home Care Movers & Logistics. By booking our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services Description

Home Care Movers & Logistics provides professional moving and logistics services including:

Residential Moving

Local and long-distance home relocations

Commercial Moving

Office and business relocations

Packing Services

Professional packing and unpacking

Transportation

Safe transportation of goods

Storage Solutions

Short and long-term storage

Specialty Moves

Pianos, antiques, fragile items

Service Limitations:
Restricted Items

We do not transport hazardous materials, illegal substances, perishable foods, live animals (except small pets in proper carriers), plants, or cash/valuables exceeding $500 in value unless specifically declared and insured.

Pricing Notes:
  • All prices are in US Dollars (USD)
  • Estimates are valid for 30 days from issue date
  • Additional charges may apply for: stair carries, long carries, elevator fees, packing materials
  • A 3% credit card processing fee applies to all card payments
  • Returned checks incur a $50 fee

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations
  • 48+ hours notice: Full deposit refund
  • 24-48 hours notice: 50% deposit refund
  • Less than 24 hours: No refund
  • No-show: Forfeit full deposit + $100 fee
Rescheduling
  • 72+ hours notice: Free reschedule
  • 48-72 hours notice: $50 reschedule fee
  • 24-48 hours notice: $100 reschedule fee
  • Less than 24 hours: Treated as cancellation
Weather & Force Majeure:
Inclement Weather Policy

In cases of severe weather conditions (hurricane warnings, blizzards, etc.) or other force majeure events, we reserve the right to reschedule your move for safety reasons. No cancellation fees will apply in these circumstances. We will work with you to find the next available date.

5. Liability & Limitations

Our Liability

We exercise reasonable care in handling your belongings. Our liability is limited as outlined in our insurance coverage options.

Client Responsibility

You must prepare items properly, disclose all valuable items, and ensure proper access to premises.

We are NOT liable for:
  • Damage to items packed by client
  • Pre-existing damage or wear and tear
  • Mechanical/electrical failures of appliances
  • Damage due to improper preparation by client
  • Acts of God or force majeure events
  • Items not listed on inventory sheet

6. Insurance Options

Important Insurance Notes:
Coverage Requirements:
  • Must report damage within 24 hours
  • Documentation required (photos, receipts)
  • Claim must be filed within 7 days

  • Cash, securities, documents
  • Perishable items
  • Hazardous materials
  • Items of extraordinary value without declaration

7. Client Responsibilities & Conduct

Preparation

Have items ready and accessible for moving

Access

Provide keys, elevator access, and parking permits

Inventory

Verify inventory list and sign off on completeness

Payment

Have final payment ready upon completion

Safety

Ensure safe working conditions for our crew

Communication

Be available for questions and instructions

Prohibited Conduct:
The Following Are Strictly Prohibited
  • Interfering with crew's work
  • Providing false information
  • Harassment of staff
  • Requesting illegal services
  • Non-payment for services rendered
  • Damage to company property

Violation Consequences: Immediate termination of services, forfeiture of deposit, potential legal action, and blacklisting from future services.

All website content, logos, and materials are protected by copyright laws.

Trademarks

"Home Care Movers & Logistics" and our logo are registered trademarks.

Restrictions:

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our website without prior written permission. Unauthorized use may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws.
